Summer is heating up and so are the events and festivals at Piedmont Park! Life at Harper on Piedmont lends full opportunity to take advantage of these fun, local happenings just minutes from home. Saturday Tai Chi Classes

Join the Piedmont Park Conservancy for complimentary Tai Chi classes in Piedmont Park! The classes will be offered near the Green Market and the Visitor’s Center on Saturday mornings from 8:45-9:45am. Bring a water bottle and comfortable clothing for this relaxing experience. Finish your visit to Piedmont Park by enjoying food, produce, live music and more at the Green Market!

Voted one of the top five farmer’s markets in Atlanta by Access Atlanta, Green Market encourages sustainable communities in the most basic way – by providing shoppers with direct access to local farmers and small businesses. Enjoy local farmers, bakers, jams, preserves and artisan goods. There is something for everyone. While you shop, you can enjoy prepared foods and drinks for breakfast and lunch. The market features local live music, chef demonstrations and a board-certified dietitian will be demonstrating on health and wellness utilizing market produce.  The market also provides a kid-friendly activity center for those with small children.

This is the ideal summer festival to enjoy the outdoors, browse for irresistible art and crafts as well as appreciate the beauty of Atlanta’s largest park. Visitors will enjoy a wide variety of art and crafts from over 250 local and regional artisans and craftsman. In addition, the festival will include a children’s area, local food and beverage concessions including “gourmet” food trucks and live acoustic musical performances all weekend. Best of all, the event is entirely free to attend!
